SAP BTP Managed Services

Keep your SAP BTP landscape running at full performance.

Ongoing monitoring, incident resolution, and expert support for your SAP BTP environment — integrations, extensions, and data pipelines — so your team can focus on business outcomes, not platform operations.

Most BTP environments are built well but managed poorly.

The integration and extension work gets done. The ongoing monitoring, documentation, and incident response rarely does. These are the gaps that eventually cause business disruption.

Failures discovered by end users

Integration errors sit undetected in message queues for hours. The first sign of a problem is a call from the warehouse, finance, or a customer — not a system alert.

BTP managed by non-specialists

The internal team maintaining BTP was not involved in the original build and lacks deep integration expertise. Incidents take three times as long to resolve — if they are resolved at all.

Incomplete or missing documentation

iFlows, API endpoints, field mappings, and connection configurations were never formally documented. When the person who built them leaves, the knowledge leaves too.

SAP quarterly updates create uncertainty

Every SAP S/4HANA Cloud quarterly release changes APIs, deprecates functions, and updates authentication. Without pre-release testing, live integrations break after upgrade.

No visibility into platform health

No one has a clear picture of BTP subaccount usage, entitlement consumption, security posture, or service quota thresholds — until something hits a limit and stops working.

Your BTP environment becomes a managed asset, not a maintenance burden.

With Frontino as your BTP managed services partner, your team has full visibility, expert escalation, and a continuously documented landscape.

Proactive monitoring with real alerts

Errors, failed messages, and performance degradation are detected before they reach end users. Alerts route to architects who can act, not a shared inbox.

Incidents resolved by experts

Every incident is handled by the same senior BTP architects who build integrations — not a tier-1 helpdesk reading from a script. Root cause, not symptom treatment.

SAP release confidence

Quarterly compatibility checks before every SAP S/4HANA Cloud release. We identify breaking changes, test affected integrations, and deliver fixes before your upgrade window.

Always-current documentation

Technical documentation is maintained as a living asset — updated every time a change is made. Architecture maps, field mappings, runbooks, and API inventories stay current.

Monthly performance reporting

A structured monthly report with uptime metrics, incident summary, error trends, and a backlog of optimization recommendations — ready for leadership review.

Right for teams that need expert BTP operations without building an in-house team.

Organizations that went live on BTP with an implementation partner and now need ongoing support without retaining the same team

IT teams managing BTP without dedicated integration or extension expertise — incidents are resolved slowly and without documented root cause

Companies with business-critical integrations where downtime directly impacts order processing, logistics, finance, or customer operations

Organizations approaching a SAP quarterly release without a structured process for validating their BTP integrations and extensions

Businesses where the original BTP architect has left the organization and institutional knowledge is at risk of being lost entirely

Growing companies adding new BTP use cases who need a stable, documented foundation before expanding their integration and automation landscape

Architects managing what architects built.

Managed services delivered by the same team that designs and builds BTP integrations. The depth of knowledge shows in response time and resolution quality.

BTP Architects, Not Helpdesk

Every incident is handled by senior BTP architects with hands-on Integration Suite and extension experience. No tier-1 screening. No ticket queues. Direct expert access.

Proactive, Not Reactive

Monitoring is configured to detect failure conditions before they reach end users. We alert and act — not wait for a business user to report a problem via support ticket.

SAP Release Ready

Quarterly SAP release compatibility checks are built into every managed services contract. We review, test, and fix before your upgrade window — not after an incident post-upgrade.

Clean Documentation Always

We maintain technical documentation as a living asset — updated every time a change is made to your landscape. You are never dependent on us to understand your own environment.

Common questions about BTP managed services.

No. Our onboarding process is specifically designed for taking over BTP environments we did not originally build. During weeks 1–2, we conduct a full environment audit, document everything, and set up monitoring from scratch. Most of our managed services clients come to us from a different implementation partner.
After-hours coverage is defined per engagement based on your business requirements. Standard tier covers business hours. Premium tier includes on-call coverage for critical incidents. For most B2B integration scenarios, business-hours coverage is sufficient — but we configure monitoring to alert appropriately for your business context.
Our managed services scope is focused on the BTP layer — Integration Suite, extensions, automation, and platform health. For SAP ECC or on-premise S/4HANA, we can advise on integration points, connectivity monitoring, and Cloud Connector health, but system-level basis management falls outside scope.
Before each SAP S/4HANA Cloud quarterly release, we review the release notes for API changes, deprecations, and security updates that affect your active integrations and extensions. We test impacted components in your quality system, document findings, and implement fixes before your production upgrade window. A compatibility report is delivered after each check.
Managed services are structured as a monthly retainer with a minimum 6-month initial term. Scope, SLA commitments, and tier selection are defined in the service agreement. At the end of any engagement, we conduct a formal handover including all documentation, access credentials, and a knowledge transfer session with your internal team.
